Coull buzz: a4u Performance Marketing Awards and a4uexpo Barcelona
Well, the dust has settled on this year’s a4u Performance Marketing Awards, which we attended on Tuesday evening in sunny London. It’s taken a couple of days for our heads to clear enough to let you know how it all went, so basically we had an excellent time!
The Performance Marketing Awards are pretty much the Oscars of the performance marketing industry, so Irfon (CEO – overall chief) and Aden (CTO – tech chief) donned the black tie and hosted the Coull table, taking responsibility for making sure glasses never stayed less than half full for more than few seconds.
We didn’t just get a table and kick back though. This year we sponsored an award category – Best Use of Social Media – which was won by NHS Blood and Transplant for their fantastic Facebook campaign. Nice one guys.
These events are always good for rubbing shoulders with the best and brightest in performance marketing and finding out what everyone’s up to. Despite the relaxed atmosphere and plentiful lubrication we kept our traps firmly shut when quizzed on Coull’s future plans though. Why? We’ve got some great stuff coming up, that’s why, and we’re not quite ready to start shouting about it. Yet.
With tension now built up to the level of a taut psychological thriller, we can reveal that it’s at another a4u event that we’ll finally spill the beans: the a4uexpo on 19-20 June in Barcelona.
We’ve got a stand, sure, but Irfon will also be giving an hour-long presentation on exactly what Coull is up to at the moment. See you there.
