Every little detail helps, with our new click_ref parameter.

So whats else is new with the Coull Team this week I hear you ask? Well our talented Dev team have been building some improvements to our platform, making our publishers lives a little easier.

As a publisher you can now easily add your click_ref parameter to our embed code. The Coull click_ref (Click Reference) offers Coull publishers the ability to track and generate detailed reports on the commerce activity of their sites, down to the transaction level of each individual member, organisation, or subsite.

This could be anything you like, here’s some suggestions:

  • the unique ID of the member of your site viewing the video
  • a unique tracking code from your analytics package,
  • keywords from search engines used to find your site page
  • or even unique codes for your Ad Placement Campaigns to work out the EPC of your video and apportion revenue on to your own publishers.

This will allow our publishers to add more depth and detail to their stats and analytics whilst helping them gain more knowledge about how thier videos are performing. http://coull.com/wiki/coull-clickref-overview
