We continue to get some interesting coverage and welcome all the feedback and comments, good and bad. Main issue is that site only publishes in WMV format (not for long!). coull.tv believes content should be syndicated, distributed and the functionality of the site will reflect that philosophy.

Meet coull.tv team at mashup london on 13th December

Tuesday, December 12th, 2006

coull.tv are sponsoring the drinks at the next mashup event, 13th December, London.

The theme of the evening is “Advertising 2.0″ and as you know here at coull.tv we believe in contextual advertising, ads linked to an action. For example a “click on” or “search for” the object of interest would subsequently display some subtle targeted, relevant advertising. Death to the Pre-Roll!

There is an interesting article called Mashup: Learn why “The future of Web Ads is Britain!” by Sam Sethi at TechCrunch UK who covers this mashup event.

I look forward to speaking at this event. Mashup is fast becoming one of the hottest networking events in London, thanks to Simon Grice of etribes.

Please come and say hello if you are there,

Cheers,
Irfon.

coull.tv launched!

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

Welcome to the coull.tv blog…

coull.tv launched on December 1st and I hope you like it!

We wanted to launch a site where you create interactive videos simply and publish them for free, find moments in your video easily, in fact not only moments but interesting objects within your moments and share these moments with others.

Our mission is to tag every object in every video on the planet. On coull.tv you will NEVER see a pre-roll or post-roll advert within your videos; we don’t need them or want them.

coull.tv as launched is just a starting point, remember the coull.tv community is yours! We want feedback from all of you, help build the coull.tv - tell us about the features and changes you would like most.

We will be launching branded channels on coull.tv with exciting new content, these channels will be part of the community but clearly identified by the content owners logo.

This blog will communicate all community related news, events, feature add-ons and simple updates to the coull.tv website – and more.

Remember; let me know what changes you want to see on coull.tv.

Cheers,
Irfon.
